Cooking lessons

Experience authentic Cretan cooking in a traditional village, away from tourist crowds.

First you will walk around the village, look at its old traditional buildings, memorials and churches and learn about its history, architecture and economy. You will end up at an old olive-oil factory where you will meet a small group of other participants and your cooking lesson will begin, under the guidance of a professional, local cook. She will guide you step by step to create the perfect dishes and will also give you useful information about the products' nutrinional value and how they should and shouldn't be cooked.

You will use fresh Cretan products, olive-oil and herbs to prepare five traditional dishes. You will enjoy your meal with local wine and Greek music.
